Equipment

Currently we use an SPL channel strip (pre, eq, comp, de-esser, air-band), an Art Pro MPA Gold 2 channel tube preamp, four RME pre-amps, two Apogee pre-amps. These are converted using Apogee and RME technology, using the RME soundcard onboard the Fireface 800 which runs directly into our dual-core custom audio PC from ADK(UAD-1 card inside) and into Cubase SX3. We also have an outboard DigiTech effects processor, a Presonus compressor, a Pro VLA Art Compressor and a DBX comp/limiter. We use high end Sony and AKG headphones, all Mogami cables, Roland digital monitors and Blue Sky monitors as well (with woofer).

For mics we use a Soundeluxe U195, an AEA r84 ribbon, an Earthworks SR30, 3 Earthworks TC-20s, an Electro Voice RE-20, 3 Shure sm-58s, an sm-57, 2 Beyer-dynamic tom mics, a Rhode K2 studio tube and more.

All this runs into a Soundcraft Studio 16x8x2 Inline Console.

We have a variety of amps and instruments as well. This includes Mesa Boogie, a few different Fender amps, Marshal, a couple Epiphone Les Paul's (and an SG), a Ludwig Blue Light Vista original drum kit\ with Zildjian cymbals, and more. We can rent you equipment you need from a nearby instrument rental house as well.
